Update

I visited my sister in Tennessee for a week and since I flew (boy, my arms are tired :)), I didn't take my guitar.  I can't beleive that in that short time, my fingertips have softened.  It's not quite as bad as at the beginning, but they are sore again after my first day of practicing.  Is there a point when you can lay off for a week without the pain of starting back?  I sure hope so.  Well, I guess I'll go practice.  Peace, love and make wonderful music.

    New Musician and Loving It

    Sunday, March 4, 2007, 12:19 PM [General]

I retired earlyand moved to Florida.  I've always wanted to play guitar but was too busy raising a family and working.  I started taking lessons in July '06 and have been taking them ever since.  I love playing.  I envy young people that have started and have a lifetime of development.  I don't have typical aspirations of "making it in music"; I only want to play well someday and share something wonderful with my son who plays.

You said you used to live in Goodlettsville. I live right on Springfield Hwy. just before you get to Ridgetop and Bakers Market. Stop in sometime.
